I'm not sure, maybe they include the adapter kit in the box now and that page is only for people bringing their old cooler to a new build. CM has a page about AM4 compatibility here. Why would only one of the standoff bolts have the gasket material which is intended to protect the surface of your motherboard? Now I am not so sure I should reinstall the cooler? The Hyper 212 Evo has been around for a while and was designed for Intel sockets. I see no evidence of the other 3 left on my motherboard. The new SickleFlow 120 PWM fan brings higher cooling efficiency and better acoustics.

I noticed there are many traces right in the area and under the big standoffs that are provided with this cooler. The last time I pulled it off I noticed what I thought might be damage to the motherboard traces around the standoffs. If you've seen another thread I have you will know that I reinstalled my EVO 212 cooler many times due to a thermally unstable 4690k that is currently in RMA.
